Shanna Marroquin, DVM, MS, DACVR

Dr. Marroquin is an ACVR board certified radiologist who loves being a part of the MWVI family. She is a Kansas native and earned her DVM from Kansas State University. She completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO where she and her family fell in love with beautiful Colorado. Dr. Marroquin then completed her diagnostic imaging residency and Master of Science in Veterinary Medical Science at Mississippi State University. After finishing her residency, she and her family moved back to the Denver area which they now call home.

In addition to enjoying working with your lovely canine and feline patients, Dr. Marroquin also loves working with exotic species. This adoration for scaly and nontraditional pets and wildlife sparked her original interest in pursuing veterinary medicine, and she is excited to be able to offer radiology services for these patients. Dr. Marroquin is also trained to perform echocardiograms and is happy to offer these services when needed. In her spare time, she enjoys martial arts, hiking, escape rooms, and spending time with her family, which includes an adorable son and their school of guppies.
